SS03 Exaggerated Wide-Leg Trousers
Y's by Yohji Yamamoto Spring/Summer 2003 Wide-Leg Trousers in Black
The Exaggerated Wide-Leg Trousers are an ultra-wide silhouette crafted from a durable cotton twill. Cut with an intentionally oversized waist, the design forces the wearer to used a belt, cinching the waistline to create a heavily stacked look. The traditional four-pocket styling is subverted on the right front pocket, which is halved and rendered impractical by an exposed zipper track that adds a subtle asymmetry. Finished with belt loops and a buttoned zip fly.
