Helmut Lang Autumn/Winter 2000 Resinated Military Coat in Olive Drab
The Resinated Military Coat is a standard-fit silhouette with a crafted from an overdyed, resinated vintage cotton, with a dry, structural hand-feel and a distinctive matte surface that allows the development of patina, revealing the base grain of the fabric with wear. The front is defined by a pronounced spread collar, raglan sleeves, two flap pockets at the waist, and a concealed Corozo button-tab placket. A central back vent is situated at the straight hem to facilitate ease of movement
The interior is fully lined with textured wool-blend blanket fabric for thermal protection without the bulk of traditional padding. It is fitted Lang's signature backpack webbing system: three bondage straps allow the garment to be suspended from the shoulders when off the body, enabling the wearer to remain hands-free while providing passive thermal protection. Finished with adjustable button cuffs and an interior pocket.
