1980s Batwing Apron Coat
Issey Miyake Design Studio 1980s Batwing Apron Coat in Taupe
The Oversized Coat is a knee-length, generously-cut short coat, defined by exaggerated dolman sleeves and dropped shoulders. Crafted from a crisp poly-blend fabric, it features a button-tabbed funnel neck that can be opened into a wide collar, along with a concealed button front. Elastic rib-knit trim finishes the collar, cuffs, and pocket welts. A triangular yoke extends into a deep box pleat at the back, allowing for added movement.
⬭ 65% polyester, 35% cotton.
⬭ Made in Japan.
⬭ Good vintage condition, minor scratches as seen in the last two photos.
