The Viridi-Anne Autumn/Winter 2010 Chesterfield Coat in Charcoal
The Chesterfield Coat is a tailored silhouette cast in a substantial linen-wool blend tweed. It is engineered with sharp pagoda shoulders (a slight upward crest at the sleeve head), complemented by hidden box-pleated armhole gussets for structural mobility. The front features a classic notched lapel that leads into a single-breasted, snap-button placket, while the back is fitted with a deep, central vent. Rib-knit panels are integrated at the collar and cuffs, extending into functional thumbholes that create a layered look while providing warmth. The interior is finished with a satin lining and houses two chest pockets. As a final detail, a secret welt pocket is built into the chest paneling, accessible only when flipping up the left lapel.
